Nashville Pro-Am Night 3 Recap

    Action was at an all-time high in night three of the Nashville Pro-Am among the six teams on Sunday. Team Pinnacle finally got into the win column against Asurion, coming out on top 79-66 with a big game from Myran Taylor notching 22 points and very efficient from the field (9/16). “It felt good to finally get that first win.” Taylor said. “We felt our vibes the first two games and was down on bodies and everyone is a lot bigger than us, so today we just said let’s just put it all out there and lets just play hard and just go get this win.” Team Pinnacle got off to its normal first half production by controlling the tempo of the game and take a 43-34 lead at the half. However, they only managed to score eight points in the third as Asurion would come back to tie the game at 53 at the end of the 3rdquarter. But Pinnacle would not be denied victory as they would score 28 in the 4thto secure the victory.


    Game two went down to the wire between Slim and Husky’s and AC Dentistry. Slim and Husky’s would come out on top 71-69 with former MTSU star Bruce Massey Jr leading Slim and Husky’s with 14 points. Slim and Husky’s would force AC Dentistry into 14 turnovers while they would only turn it over four times. AC Dentristy Josh Williams led all scorers with 20 points.

 


In the final game of Sunday’s action showed a highlight factory of three point shots between Team Cash and Car Source. Team Cash would defeat Car Source 91-86. An even first half between the two teams kept it close, and when Car Source Outscored Team Cash 31-17 in the 3rdit seemed like they would take the game. However, Team Cash would win the 4thquarter 26-18. KC Anyna was huge for Team Cash finishing with 27 points to propel Team Cash. Jaqwan Raymond and Austin Luke both pitched in 22 points for Car Source. Action resumes this week on Thursday for night four.
